Letters from Santa and Christmas Certificates

321christmas.jpgSome of you may know that I have a few parenting products I’ve come up with over the years. These products are centered around giving notes and letters, as well as some cool certificates, to children at some special times of the year. Right now, I’ve updated my Letters from Santa and Christmas Certificates so that they can be used by anyone.

How? I’ve converted all the Christmas Certificates from strictly Microsoft Word format (.doc) to the OpenOffice.org format (.odt). OpenOffice is a FREE office suite that you can download at www.openoffice.org. OpenOffice not only offers a great word processing solution, but also modules for spreadsheets, drawing, presentations, and more. This is a great open source initiative helped out by Sun Microsystems. If you don’t have a full-featured office suite like Microsoft Word, OpenOffice is a great alternative and offers much of the same functionality.

And, to prepare for the Christmas season, I’ve lowered the cost of the Christmas Super Bonus Package to only $17. So, you get over 100 great letters from Santa and 10 beautiful Christmas certificates for one small price. It’s my way of opening up the My Parent Magic the right way. So, if you have some kids waiting for this year’s visit from Santa, make it a little more magic with a great Santa letter and Christmas certificate. It’s been a lot of fun for my kids and my wife loves the fact that it’s easy to put together a great letter even at midnight after putting all the presents under the tree!

Happy Parenting and Merry Christmas!

My Parent Magic Revised

Welcome Cat MatWell, I’ve finally got the My Parent Magic blog up and running. It took a bit of time, mostly because of the amount of technical expertise I have at my beck and call (which is, exactly me). But, the basics are up and running, and it appears that it works and will remain “live” on the Internet for the foreseeable future.

So, what can you expect at www.MyParentMagic.com? At this site, I’ll be trying to bring together some of the resources I’ve found on the Internet that will help you keep the magic in your parenting. Cool sites, great tips, and loads of free resources that can help you in your quest to have fun with your kids while they are still kids. Just like when we were growing up!

So, make sure you join the list and I’ll keep you posted on what’s new at the site. And…

Happy Parenting!
